Couple Filmed Engaging In Sexual Act During BEHEMOTH Concert

July 7, 2019

BEHEMOTH frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski has shared a video of a couple engaging in a sexual act while in the moshpit during the band's performance Saturday night (July 6) at the Roskilde Festival in Roskilde, Denmark. In an accompanying message, Nergal wrote: "Well, I'm no veteran but I've seen things. I've seen a lot... yesterday we wrapped up a festival season at the legendary Roskilde Festival in Denmark. The show was really good, pretty tight and with a passionate response from local viking squad. I'm happy to see ANY reaction to our music really. I'm good with anything but indifference. I'm ok with a lil dose of violence, people throwing pieces of their wardrobe, ppl flipping me off, bulling me, girls showing titties... it's ALL good! But in my almost 30 year carieer I've NEVER seen a couple making out right in front of stage in the epicenter of the fuckin' pit! Holy shit! Half naked lady was kneeling in front of half naked dude blowing him for good 5-10 minutes while he was raising fists and singing along to our love songs! How cool is that hm?!? It feels good to know that BEHEMOTH is corrupting legions on soooo many levels! LOVE IS THE LAW, DEPRAVATION LEVEL PRO @devilutiondk"

Back in 2015, a British couple pleaded not guilty to behaving indecently by engaging in sexual activity, including oral sex, during a concert one year earlier in Hyde Park. The woman later told the court she was not engaging in oral sex, but was trying to help her partner to the toilet. They were both fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £3,500 in court costs after a judge said they should be "taught a lesson."

BEHEMOTH is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "I Loved You At Your Darkest", which was released last October via Metal Blade Records in North America and Nuclear Blast in Europe.

The band will support SLIPKNOT on the massive "Knotfest Roadshow" headline tour, which is set to traverse across North America this summer. VOLBEAT and GOJIRA will also join as special guests on all dates. Produced by Live Nation, the 29-city outing will kick off July 26 in Mountain View, California at Shoreline Amphitheater and continue through September 8, where it will conclude with a performance at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.
